The route sounds great, however I am not sure what time frame you are planning.
This is some estimate how much time you would need for each region:
- India: min 2-3 months
- Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia: 2-3 months
- China: Yunnan, Guanxi provinces: min 1-2 month
- Malaysia: 2 weeks
- Indonesia: it very big, but let's suppose you fly only to Bali, min 2 weeks.
If you have only 2-3 months, I would just go to one region and try to explore that to the fullest.

Your plan sounds really delicious to me.
However I have not been all these places yet.
I have been travelling only in Thailand and Australia from this selection.
So if you have some questions I am willing to share my own expeariances in letter.
