I noticed the other thread about winter work in banff is fairly old so im starting a new one.
if you are looking for work in Banff I would recommend the Banff springs hotel.
Just a little ways away from Banff city is lake Louise and the Chateau lake louise fairmont hotel.
you have the lake louise ski resort, the nakiska ski resort, sunshine mountain, Mt. Norquay, castle mountain resort.
those are most of the big ski resorts in the area
in Lake Louise there is a Hosteling international, hostel and bar.
I believe there is also a HI hostel in banff called the alpine center.
