Yes, I have been told this is a no brainer and Yellowstone is the answer but let me just put my dilemma out there.
You need more days! I have been to all of your itinerary and all are worth your time. I saw more big game in Custer State Park than anywhere else, a must see IMO. If you start early, you could drive through Custer SP, visit Wind Cave NP, over to Crazy Horse and end up at Mt Rushmore for the evening lighting of the faces. Up early to photo Rushmore in the early light and head for Yellowstone.

Mt. Rushmore is very impressive but even after viewing the film on how it was made we kind of went "ok this is cool for an hour, now let's get the hell out of here".
