For international flights you should be at the airport 2 hours ahead of time. Will you using 2 different airports in Manila?
You are only in Davao, why not just go to Manila a day ahead of time? That way if your flight is late or breaks down or whatever - you won't miss your international flight to China.
Your flight could be diverted because of weather like this one:
well actually you need 2-3 hours to be in the airport prior to actual flight... there may be times that lines in immigration is long plus the security checks. so it's best that you are in the airport early...
