I've been to Aus just two weeks ago and now looking for possible emplyment over there, does anyone know how long does it take for me to get an approved skilled Visa? what about working holiday visa? The website says 6months... I was hoping actual, they may be a lil bit more faster? X.x
A "working holiday visa" (subclass 417) is generally approved within the day; a week at most - you just have to be outside of Australia for applying to it. I see you're Malaysian, though, which means that the option that's open for you is the "work and holiday visa" (subclass 462), and I'm afraid I don't know how swiftly those are processed. There's also a limit of only 100 of these visas available for Malaysians, and they do run out (I don't know how swiftly); however, that limit of 100 goes "per financial year", which runs from the 1st of July until the 30th of June, so as of today there should be a new batch available.
