Cheap one way flight to new zealand??

Hey everyone.
i'm currently looking for a cheap one way flight to new zealand for september.
I would like to ask if anyone has any idea of the cheapest airline or good websites i can search on and where, in new zealand is the easiest or cheapest place to fly in too.

There really are just few options. one way flights can be just as expensive (or cost more!) than a return ticket.
The exceptions are lowbudget airlines and Air Asia might have flights which would be an option for you. There are flights from London (or Paris) to Kuala Lumpur and onward flights to NZ (but also Australia).
O, don't know about this, but make sure you can enter NZ on a one way ticket or you will be send back. Don't know about their regulations though.
By the way, noticed your other post and still not very clear, but please also mention from where you want to fly. Assuming again from the UK? If you want a good answer, a complete question can be handy

I agree with Utrecht - no such thing as cheap to NZ these days

If you can get to Thailand (and preferably roam around there for a few weeks) you might be able to find something. My sister got a flight for 425 US from Thailand.

Hey Utrecht- i am flying from the UK yes. sorry i didnt mention that. i have a 23 months visa currently being processed so a one way ticket is the best option for me, also you need to have enough money in the bank to show you can afford a flight home when entering new zealand on a one way flight and if you go on a year visa you need to show you have 4200 dollers in your account at least. if ive read the conditions properly.
i found a flight for july for 450 pounds the other day but i cannot go until at least september and they get a little more dearer. but i will check out air asia definatly...
thanks for your help guys

Yup I just flew Air Asia, Kuala Lumpur to Christchurch for $120nz! I booked the flight months ago, but saw they were offering it for $90 the other day! This is a special and not sure if they will have it for September. I also flew Air Asia from London to K/L I think I paid about 400BPS for that, but I know they have been cheaper too. You can also check Jetstar they sometimes have good deals from Singapore to Auckland. Pacific Blue is another worth checking.

It is possible to have cheap flights to New Zealand when booking for the less popular period of May to October, and this country is always worth a visit at any time of year.
