It's the wet season I get it. Seas are bad. You have to travel by land. Some places are closed. Is it worth it all at to travel to Ko Lanta or Lipe at the end of June? Thanks.
I've been to Koh Lanta in the rainy season. If you are just looking for a place to hang out and chill it's still lovely and there are things you can do/see. But a lot is closed, the scuba sucks, the seas can be rough. Ferrying to the island can be difficult at times. Of course even in the rainy season it doesn't tend to rain all day, but you might lose 1-3 hours a day due to rain.
but the truth was I enjoyed it. We did some hiking, visited some of the island villages, laid about on the beach and swam. Plenty of wildlife and elephant trekking available.
and if the weather is miserable you can skip the islands and hang out in Krabi region where there is tons of stuff to do.
