Hi guys, im arriving in Bangkok on the 22nd March for a 3 week holiday, and would be great to catch up with some people for a bit of an adventure/island hopping/beers/sightseeing etc. I've never been to Thailand before but really looking forward to it..Cheers

Just work out how to get from the airport to the city and some hotel suggestions for now. You will meet other travelers in hotels, bars, on tours and just walking around.
Got an area picked out for your hotel yet? Since you are not a kid anymore maybe a hotel in the Sukhumvit Road area will work out okay. In this area you can walk to restaurants, nightlife, travel agencies for tours, malls and street vendors. Best of all is that you can also use the Skytrain to connect to other rail service that comes from the airport and to the Hualamphong train station.
When you get around to asking about hotels also include the price you want to pay!
Thanks for the advice I'm def going to have to wing it a bit, but like you say I'm sure I'll bump into people....cant wait.
