Should I quit my Vet Nurse apprenticeship to go Australia?

Hello,

A few years more work against the 35 to 40 years left of your working life? It seems to me a good investment. While your present knowledge will get you on the bottom rung of the ladder on your profession, that is pretty much where you may stay unless you complete the course.

Maybe move a little out of town to a better area and commute?

As to your girlfriend, even if you went to live with her now, that is no guarantee that you would still be together this time next year. Relationships are not set in stone.

Work and more work may be depressing. Maybe you need a few weeks break somewhere in the sun, and take your books with you? Canary islands (you said you had some savings)? A cheap flight with cheap accommodation from hostelbookers.

I'm an RVN.

I would stick at it! Think of the end where you've got your qualification and you can Locum in oz and travel at the same time! That's what I'm hoping to do! I've been nursing for 8 years - qualified for 5!

Itll all be worth it!
