A flight from Costa Rica to Cuba should not be too expensive. Then back to Caracas in Venezuela and bus it down south since you have plenty of time. It's a lot of time by bus so stop off often on your way.
A flight from Buenos Aires to Santiago (Chile) is the cheapest way to get there by air.
A standard visa will do for Australia unless you plan working there.
