was just wondering if any1 as gone over there on a years working visa and took golf clubs lol?
whats the easiest way for me to get mine out there?
and how do you get your spending money into the country?
If you want to take golf clubs, contact your airline and see what they have to say. Depending on what other luggage you have, you may have to pay a fair bit extra for them.
Just possible that you could contact one of the companies that move people out there and they could put them inside one of their containers. Even better, find someone moving out there.
I trust you will earn enough to pay "greens fees". No free golf courses.
Every bank account has an IBAN number (International Banking number). It identifies where every bank is, and will contain a bank sort code and an account number.
When you arrive in Australia and set up a bank account there (you will need an address where you are staying), you can transfer money from your home bank account to Australia. I do this from the UK to France and it arrives quickly, I get a good exchange rate and pay little for it. Check with your bank and see what they have to say on the matter.
Do an internet search for: prepaid credit cards for use abroad
and you can put money on a card and use it when abroad, like a credit card only you pay money up front. I don't know if it is possible but maybe your bank could put money in the form of a direct debit on it each month for you to withdraw in Australia?
