Hi I plan on travelling from New York to Ocean City a number of times this summer and I am wondering what my best options are regarding public transport are as I will not have a car? I was looking at Greyhound and Amtrak trains but are there any more convenient services? I am not familiar with American public transport and would really appreciate some tips. Thanks
I believe the bus is the most convenient to Ocean City, MD. You have your choice of bus or train from NYC to Baltimore, and then it's Greyhound/Carolina Trailways to Ocean City. I would take the train myself, but I imagine it's twice the price? There is an airport near Ocean City, but I really hate regional air carriers (US Airways).
Don't confuse Ocean City, Maryland with Ocean City, New Jersey - different places, but fairly close to each other!
