Anyone done this flight lately?
I can't imagine it would be any better or worse than any other Air Asia flight and they are generally pretty good I have found?!
Is there any reason it would be particularly bad?
Well the reason I imagine it being bad is the fact it's a long haul flight with a budget airline. I've flown a few times with Air Asia only for short flights and wanted to know about this particular journey. Like how crampt the seats are for 8 hours ..
Service would probably be minimal, but if you can put up with that for the sake of saving quite a bit of cash then I'd say it's worth it. You would have to pay for entertainment, meals and drinks. My partner flew KL to Auckland with Jetstar which is probably comparable and said it was ok - worth it for the price difference with Singapore airlines.
Can anyone recommend China Air? Its cheap but nobody raves about it.
I flew KL to London Stansted, it was fine and I'd do it again to save money.
Booked with Ethiad in the end, seems nice enough, hope i get free champers!
I booked Virgin Atlantic from HK instead.
