Ok, I want to take my Samsung Galaxy S2 to Australia, will I need to unlock my phone for an Australian SIM card or will it work already? I'm on an O2 contract atm, but will cancel it before i go.
How long is your o2 contract? Do you know how much the fee is to cancel? I have to do the same thing for when I go in November

You will need to unlock it to use an Australian SIM card.
You may not need to unlock it - I used my O2 mobile with an Australian sim when I was travelling in Australia and it worked fine. That was a Nokia though - other manufacturers could be different I guess.

Spoke to o2, they sending me a code to get it unlocked! Gotta pay a years contract off tho
