hi,
i would like to get from ancona to florence. people have said i can catch a train and change at bologna but when i look at the italian train timetable it doesnt let me find times for trains.
can anyone help? does anyone know whether i can just buy a ticket on the day or do i need to prebook the train ticket?
i am trying to get from croatia to italy (the long way i guess)!
any help would be appreciated.

I'm doing similar trip and booked easily on http://www.italiarail.com/timetable
its always best to prebook, just in case there is no tickets left.
Also might be worth checking out Bolonga,as it sounds quite nice.
