Next weekend I´ll travel to Prag by car but I´m having trouble finding a suitable place where I can leave my car. I was thinking about a park and ride parking, but you are normally not supposed to leave your car there over night. According to their regulation you have to pay a fine of 100 CZK if you leave your car over there. I wouldn´t mind paying that, since it would still be cheaper than a parking inside the city, but since I will stay 3 nights in Prag, I don´t know what would happen if I leave my car for such a long time there. I don´t want my car to be towed away.
Does anyone have any experience with park and ride parkings in Prag? Or does anyone has another suggestion for parking a car in Prag?
For those of you who might to travel to Prague by car in the future: I parked my car on a park and ride parking, and although it´s officially not ment to allow people to leave their car over night, I didn´t had any problems. I just gave the Ticket to the guard and paid 100 CZK extra for every night I stayed there. The Staff at the Hostel even recommended it and it seems to be a very common practice.
