Hi,
Suggested stopovers: Ao Nang, Railay beach area (meals and nightlife along Railay East beach), Koh Lanta(Long Beach). These 3 places should provide you with nightlife. As they are popular in high season I would highly recommend having your accom. prebooked otherwise you could be spending a lot of time finding a decent vacant room.
Take the boat from Krabi to Koh Lanta via Koh Jum(Pu). You might decide to take a couple of quiet days and stopover on Koh Jum. Return to Krabi by boat or by land(minivan).
Given that you have already travelled in Thailand you should have a good understanding of transport, accom., and food costs to assist you with budgeting. This combined with internet info you should be good to go.
