Visa questions

- I am a United States citizen currently residing in the US
- I will be traveling for approximately 44 days
- I will be visiting many countries, some on the Schengen Zone list, others not.

If you have a US passport, you can travel in most of Europe on a visa waiver, that is you don't need to apply for any visa at all. Russia is different, but you don't mention this country. You get 90 days out of 180 in the Schengen area, of which Norway is a member by the way.
You don't have to apply for any visa for your visit to England and Scotland.

You should have a return ticket and proof of sufficient funds for your stay, but it's quite likely that you won't be asked for this by passport control in any country.
Enjoy your trip.

Thank you for that information! I really appreciate it!
