I will be in Tuscany for the month of July....can anyone recommend good value hotels, farm stays, hostels etc within Tuscany where I can stay for a week or so? I'm also interested in recommended accommodation in Cinque Terra as well please.
Thanks heaps
Kim
In the middle of Tuscany lies the spa town Chianciano Terme. It is a really nice town and it is located in reasonable proximity to many of Tuscany's major attractions in the towns, Montepulciano, Pienza, Siena, Orvieto, Florence, Pisa and S. Gimignano.
When I was there I stayed at a hotel called Albergo Villa Crociani which is a small family run hotel with 2 stars. But it was much better in my opinion and I can definitely recommend the place.
Hi Kim, my wife and I have just had a weeks stay in Tuscany, we based ourselves in Pisa, then we went off on different days to Lucca (25 mins) Florence (60 mins) Siena (90 min) and Cinque Terra, not sure on time, but all these places we used the train and found the train not too expensive, and where we stayed was 2 mins walk to Pisa train station, check out Michele Guest House Pisa, the rooms are very nice and the breakfast also very good we have stayed there twice and can recommend with out fear, michele is very good and will tell you all you want to know about where you are going and where not to go. Hope you have a good trip to Tuscany
Thank you Jan and Toby for your tips and advice, i am so very grateful.
Counting down now, only 29 sleeps to go until i leave and I am ridiculously excited. I'll check out the hotels you've recommended as there's nothing better than a first hand testimonial.
Thanks again
Kim
