We loved national orchid garden, I took so many photos so my camera went flat, we went to Marina bay It was just amazing, make sure you visit. The lift was an experience, 56 floors in 45 seconds and the view was spectacular.
Its depends on which area you want to focus on,for Orchard Road, if you can afford it, choose the 5 star Hotels, like Marriott or Park Hotel.For City Hall Area, Ritz Carlton & Oriental...you will not regret.
Whatever hotel you stay in...make sure its walking distance to the Train( MRT) Station.
or Marina Bay Sands Hotel and Casino is probably the best but most expensive 400 a night
