Hi, I am a bit of a Gym bunny, not that it actually shows it, but I do like to use Gym facilities.
You will be able to find many gyms in OZ cities and many inside hotel.
If you wanna keep up with good body shape and you'd like to travel with a less expensive budget, I can suggest you to travel with gym bands, a yoga mat and running shoes to go jogging anywhere. That way, it's easy to do many exercices in a lightweight way and not depend of gym.
You can also put training exercices that doesn't need a lot of equipment like P90X on your ipod or tablet.

i am in the same boat apart from i will be in thailand for six weeks first, my plan is to take running trainers, and upload videos on my iphone like francois says. Also i think if you go to gyms and pretend you are thinking of moving there they will prob let u train for free one time, just do that and move around so u got to a different gym everytime? haha thats my plan. failing that finding a park and doing body weight stuff is always good.

Think the best idea would be to just take some running shoes if a gym isn't available. Obviously it would be cheaper, you can run pretty much anywhere and you might find some interesting sites that you wouldn't otherwise have found
