Hello Everyone!
Ive signed up to this site with the hope of receiving some advice about travelling around the north east side of America. Me and 2 friends are starting off in New York on the 3rd August. Weve booked 3 nights stay in New York. Then moving onto Boston for 3 nights. Then we are hoping to go to Buffalo to see the Niagra falls. Prob stay for 3 nights again, although havent booked this yet. Then we are not sure where to go, what to see etc. Ive seen Washington DC so dont fancy going there again. But happy for any other advice, where to go, where to stay etc. Or if anyone else will be around at that time. We are all from the UK and are flying back home on the 20th August.
I don't think you want that much time in Niagara Falls - maybe 1.5 days. Since it's summer and beach weather, I'd suggest Cape Cod near Boston. The State of Maine is also quite beautiful and the home of cheap lobster. New England in general is pretty nice - Vermont and New Hampshire are great. You will need a car.
I also like the southern New Jersey beaches - Ocean City (below Atlantic City) is my favorite
Yeah i agree about Niagra. Ive seen it but my friends havent. Im not fussed about seeing it again! Is there much to do in Buffalo? I worked at a summer camp in Maine. It is beautiful! I will check out those places. Thanks! We are hoping to travel either via plane or bus.
