I'm traveling for the next year and I have people and plans in every place I am going except for central America and buenos aires. I will be hostel hopping and taking buses.
Hi, I'm currently planning my first solo traveling trip to central America in October of this year, soon after my 21st birthday.
I have done fairly extensive research on all of the countries in that region, have you any idea on what you want to do there, or how long you'll be there for? I'm planning to do as much as I can, from visiting the volcanic islands of Ompetepe in Nicaragua, visiting the incredible snorkeling of Glovers Reef in Belize and the Panama Canal and so much more!!

Well, one weeks seems just a bit too long for Buenos Aires. I'd say the ideal number of days is 5 (but 5 full days, not taking into account the day you arrive and the one you leave).
Btw, I'm an argentinian who lives 30 minutes away from Buenos Aires City.
I'm here to answer all your questions about BA (I have some information about some other provinces here if you want to see them, but of course it's Buenos Aires what I know best). I even can show you the city; I'd be like a free city guide but with poor historical knowledge.
