I will start my trip in the middle of September to Spain. And that is why I need to know about some good travel destinations and beaches of Spain. Any one please share me some experience or give me some good sites I should take a look....
Lloret de Mar is quite nice. Two good beaches, the local one and the Fenals beach a little further south. The town is easy to walk around.
Though very Spanish it has everything a British person could want on holiday. TV, newspapers, etc.
Many different eating places at reasonable prices, bars, discos, shops of all kinds, etc.
A nearby water park, Port Aventura is not too far away. Lots of tours available.
If you like markets, Lloret has one Tuesday as does nearby Blanes (Monday) and Tossa de Mar (Thursday), both a short bus ride away. Torre has a great selection of restaurants by it's beach. Girona is a bus ride away, as is Barcelona.
You can pick up a Ryanair flight to Girona, book a shuttle from there and a hotel from hostelbookers, lowcostholidays, hotelscombined and the like.
Or book a holiday from lowcostholidays, travelsupermarket, icelolly, etc.
Pretty much most of this goes for Benidorm too (Alicante is nearest airport). Once the main family holiday season is over, early September, the place settles down and people who have been there go back time after time. Lots of nearby places to visit and things to see and do.
San Sebastian has some beautiful beaches and I saw a lot of surfers there as well. Sitges is 20 minutes south of Barcelona by train or bus and has multiple beaches. I enjoyed my time in both places last month! Personally, I enjoyed the more laid-back nature of Madrid than the busier Barcelona but both were excellent places to visit.
