I edited some information posted in an earlier blog and republished, and now it comes up as a new post, out of chronological order. Is there any way to move it back where it belongs?
Changing the "Posting Time" field (to an earlier time) should work; that's what the blog entries are primarily sorted on.
The behaviour your describe sounds like a weird bug, though. Do you now have two blog entries with nearly identical content (that is, is the original unedited blogentry still visible as well?), or did you click on the "Save as Draft" button at any point during the process? (I think that basically unpublishes the entry, but even then publishing again should've retained the original posting time...)

Yes, it's strange because I thought i could perhaps fix it by making little edits in the subsequent entries and republishing them, so that they would move up ahead of that one again, but when I tried it they retained their original publishing date. Only that one moved.
Yes, I did click on 'save as draft' while I was doing it. I would like to try your suggestion for changing the posting time---I have looked around and can't see how to do it. Can you tell me how?
