Working whilst traveling

I'm currently planning a trip to Central America in mid-October of this year, I am planning to travel through all seven of the countries of the region and have given my self a budget of £600 a month ($950), as this would be my first experience traveling, my question is would this be enough a month, im not looking to travel in luxury, I quite like the idea of a budget trip, hitching hiking around, using the local buses and cheap coaches as travel. I'm looking to be traveling for 3 months minimum, but ideally as long as possible.

Travel in SA is quite expensive and distances can be great so you can spend a long time on buses.

I was on a bus in Guatemala and some tourist guy got off in the middle of nowhere (I think buses were one a day) and I do wonder how he managed?

Prices are not that cheap. I would want more than £600 a month, and as I said, travelling is expensive. You could try the couchsurfing site to see if you can get any free accommodation.

You need to firm up your plans and check out accommodation prices and how to travel from A to B.
