I m veekay. I would be in Thailand from 23 till 27 for a conference and then would be extending my stay to go around. I intend to visit Ayutthaya. Sukhothai,Chian-rai(Golden Triangle) and Chian-mai. I was in Thailand Chiang-Mai last year but had to come back and i should have gone around because that was the nicest time of the year in January. However, this year i want to explore it. Looking forward to meet someone who would like to travel together. I am flexible and don't mind if you have a program of your own. Thailand is an wonderful country with lots of culture and not so expensive. I am a member of youth hostel and prefer to stay there as they are inexpensive and you get to meet some cool folks out there. I do have a time share which i use when i travel overseas-recently i holidayed in Cyrpus and last year i was in Turkey, actually visited Turkey twice even an year back. I have been to the States for 01 and a half month in 2009 and have traveled to countries like Singapore and Malaysia. you can check my on face bookwww.facebook.virendra.kohli.9)
Hey Chelsea, when are you going?
Im going to a wedding in Phuket in August and then staying haha... i have only booked a oneway flight (to Phuket) and have no set plans as yet. Also going solo, all my mates are grown up too - im bucking the trend
been looking at @http://www.backpackersthailand.com/ for inspiration and will go to Koh Phangan for a Full Moon Party in September. Im thinking that i will be in South East Asia for 3-6 months.
Hey, I'm not looking to go till Jan ... so our paths might cross but probably not! A one way flight sounds like a fantastic idea, u must be so excited (what date do u leave in Aug??) Enjoy the wedding and enjoy ur travels :-)
