I'm leaving for Perth on October 9th going to be staying and working with relatives not really got much of a plan apart from that tbh, sorry I can't be much help with hostels but might be able to meet up in Jan, I should have some idea of the place by then (well hopefully lol)

Where are you flying from? I am flying from Manchester to Dubai then onto Perth.
I'm flying to Perth on 04 December 2012, no real plan yet but I am meeting a friend and we intend to work in Perth for 6 months if there's good opportunities.
Would be happy to meet up or give you some advice prior to your arrival (from what I have learnt in a month).
