Hey thought I’d give this a go never really done anything like this before.
Well I’m 21 and never left home longer than a few weeks before. I’ve booked my flight for the 9th of October (this year) to go to Perth for hopefully a year, I’ve got a working holiday visa and I’m going to be staying with my cousins who run a guest house just outside Perth in Lesmurdie and I’m going to be working there during the summer and then I’ll try and try my luck at getting an IT job (really hasn’t gone well for me in the UK down in Cornwall) kinda tempted to go traveling but also quite scared by the prospect. Only met my cousins a couple of times they seem very nice and I’m extremely grateful for them giving me this opportunity hopefully I’ll get along and fit in. Kind of wish I was going with someone but I guess it’s all part of the fun. I don’t suppose anybody here is heading out October time? Would be nice to meet someone in the same boat I’m horrible shy when it comes to meeting new people when I’m out of my comfort zone but I guess I’ll have to try my best. I really hope that I make the most of my time out there. Though really starting to feel nervous now.
