I had the same problem but managed to get cover for my Ipad, and camera tho not my phone from an outfit called ADventure Travel Insurance. -snip- Haven't had to claim so don't know if their any good, but worth a try?

This may not help as you already have travel insurance, but from my past experience with insurance claim replacements if the wording is that items are replaced 'as new', there is no point buying additional cover specifically for camera gear as it will be covered by the base policy.
I generally travel with CoverMore travel insurance, a DSLR, two lenses, and a flash. On the terrible occasion when my gear (body, lens, filter) was damaged beyond repair it was replaced to current market value rather than what was paid.
