Hey, I'm off to Bangkok on the 3rd June from London with a few friends, we're spending a couple weeks going around Thailand then off to Koh Phangan for the full moon party, then I was thinking of going to Cambodia and Vietnam, then on to Tokyo but on my own. Nothing is set in stone but I was looking for anyone who wanted to do something similar, maybe we could do it together or share ideas. Anyone who has done a similar type trip I would love to hear how you got on and if you had any tips or words of advice! Thanks

I'm travelling out to Bangkok alone and arrive on the 11th June. Scary yet exciting and want to meet with similar people. I don't have a visa for Vietnam which I believe you need? Looking to follow onto Oz after doing thailand & surrounding countries - wherever the wind takes me
My flight is a one way ticket and I've seen that when you enter thailand they need to see an onward journey...is this right?

Hey Charlie, yeah you need a visa to get into Vietnam but that's easy to get! I'm not 100% sure about the rules on entering Thailand so it's best to ask someone else. It would be great to hear from you about any routes or places you have in mind as it looks like I'm going to be traveling alone for the whole journey now which is a shame, so I'm looking to find a few travel buddies!
