Japan in november '13

Hey! I'm planning this trip, try to gonna visit most of the south of Japan, but it would be really great if anyone can give me some tips about places that really worth to visit (Tokyo is the first in my list)
This is going to be a "solo" trip so if someone is around by that date and want to have a beer, let me know!! :D

When I first went to Japan in 1986, I bought a Japan rail pass (only available outside the country) and got the bullet train to Kyoto, Nagoya, Hiroshima, etc. It helps if you book the day before but there are usually tickets on the day.

There is a tourist office open in Shinjuku station, 9-5, I think, which is handy. They speak English (but probably not Spanish) and got me some accommodation.

The subway systems are easy to use. Press a button for your destination, feed the machine money and you get your token.

A Lonely Planet guide book would help. Full of useful information.

Japan is an expensive place. I used the mini-marts which are everywhere to buy sandwiches, drinks, etc as eating out is expensive.
