I plan to spend 2 days in bangkok, then 2 in pattaya ,1 in koh samet and last one shoppin again in bangkok.
Full moon party will remain a dream though.
Hope to meet u at some point of the trip.
CHEERS,
MOHIT
Thanks! Just a basic plan, so I'm not completely lost when I get to Bangkok!
BTW which country are you from CHLOE??
Hey Chloe,
Sounds like we'll be in Thailand around the same time doing similar things.
I land in Bangkok on the 12th August staying on Khao San Road for a few days to get my bearings then heading straight to Koh Phangan for the FMP on the 21st meeting up with a few people from this forum
After that I'm heading to Khon Kaen to do a bit of volunteering for a while, then looking to find scuba paradise. That's as far as my plans extend at the moment as far as SE Asia is concerned.
Heading to Australia after that on the 21st September
You travelled much before?
Hey!
Sorry for the late reply, been so busy
I've never travelled before, this is my first time!
I am going to Koh Phangan on the 21st too. I haven't really got any solid plans after that, I was just going to improvise... I leave SE Asia on the 6th of Sept.
Have you booked hostels etc in advance for the full moon party? I heard it gets pretty booked up.
cheers, Chloe.
No worries. Ah exciting times then!
Sweet I might see you there then .. Yeah I've only got a rough idea of what I'd like to do then I'm going to make arrangements as and when I'm there.
I've booked from the 19th - 23rd at Beach Village Backpackers and I know a few other people who're at the fmp on the 21st are there as well. I did it a few weeks back but I'm sure there will still be rooms available. Not sure if its necessary being the low season but I'd rather make sure I get somewhere decent in advance.
Macurtis what kind volunteer work you doing in Khon Kaen ? i am actually heading there on the 15th July. not doing volunteer work, just exploring the north eastern region
Helping out at a monastery for a few weeks, doing different types of work I believe. Ah right nice, I won't be out there myself until 1st September. You got much planned for the north eastern region?
nothing concrete, but this would be the first time i am spending so many days in khon kaen. but might travel to the neighbouring provinces too. i was hoping to experience the village culture ...
