Thailand - Solo Traveller

Hi everyone, I'm 23 and UK (London) based and I'm looking to go to Thailand/Cambodia/Vietnam/Laos in January 2014 and stay for a month or two. At the moment I have nobody to go with, so I'm wondering if there are any other solo travellers heading to that area of the world who might want to join me? It would be good if you're UK based so we can meet asap, get to know each other and plan travels.
Look forward to hearing from you, Grace.

Over a hundred thousand people will go from the UK to Thailand in January. Many will go on to those other destinations. No shortage of fellow tourists that time of year.

You should book a flight to Thailand within the next few months. AirAsia and other airlines go to other places and can be booked a month or two before.

Thailand you don't need a visa for upto 30 days. Vietnam get yourself a letter from an online company which will entitle you to a visa at the airport, but emphasise that you only want it for the days you are there. A month's visa, even if only there for just a few days costs a lot more than a visa for a few days or a multi-entry visa.

Cambodia you can pick up at the border with a $20 bill. There are a number of online companies that will get you a Laos visa. Do take several passport sized photos with you.

Apart from Thailand, American dollars are the main currency used by tourist in the other three countries and you can even get them out of ATM's there.

A small point but do make sure your passport has at least 6 months on it from the day you will return home.

Book yourself at least your first few days accommodation on arrival. There is a link at the top of the page. January is high season so while there are still rooms available for late bookers, they are not the cheapest or best.

Probably another awful winter in the UK this year. An extra week or two on a sunny beach will cost very little and sure beat being back home then.

Hi..

I am Lovisa Mindy, solo travel is a best to save many things like money, time, free mind and all so on.., but at the time of solo travel, you cant get any enjoyment and happy without friends, loved one's and family members. Group travel will give you to spend more time, money, free mind, enjoyment, happiness and all so on. too..

Try to get any one with you in your time of travel, to make fun, stay, accommodate and travel, this will help to make more and more happy moments..

Thanks
Lovisa
