4 month trip across Canada, planning help!

Hello!

I was in Canada for 2 months, 2 years ago, and we made up our itinerary as we went along, and the form we filled out on arrival only asked for the address for our first stay. Immigration was generally very swift and friendly, too - "welcome to Canada", basically. No need to provide proof of funds or anything either.
It's possible "security" paranoia has crossed the border from the USA and taken hold in Canada as well in the time since, but if so, this'd be the first I've heard of it.

Skip Whistler it's not nearly as exciting as the Rockies.

I think you should add Baffin Island (Oikiqtaaluk), It is Canada’s largest island, and offers pristine, raw nature at its most beautiful: Vast vistas of untouched scenery, interrupted only occasionally by small Inuit villages – a people that still live with respect for, and in pact with, their environment.
