Hi
Hi
......
My main concern is that this may be too much to fit in over the 3 weeks we are there. I would have loved to see the Niagara Falls but it seems to be taken us a bit out of the way to do so. Not sure if we should just stick to the East Coast / New England area and make the most out of it or still try to fit in what we have planned above.
All opinions (positive/negative) welcome - none will be taken personally
Thanks very much!
I would skip the bit in Canada & do it another time & make sure you do Niagara then. Fall colours will be long gone in Canada by November & probably the East coast too.
Plenty to occupy yourselves on the shorter route & take some time in Mystic.
But - if you do make it to Canada, call in at Ottawa for a couple of days & message me onTP. I could help show you around.
Steve
Hey there,
Im surprised you chose some of those places... I personally don't see the attraction of some of them. Hamptons, Newport.. You should spend more time in New York, 3 days is cutting it tight. I would also go to Quebec City, its the gem of the east coast. Skip Toronto and Niagara falls. Niagara is so overrated, if your coming to Canada to see beauty go far west.. anything on the east coast is not worth it for you - being from the U.K.
I'd second what Steve says - shorten the time further inland in Canada - it's a long drive from Montreal to Niagara and will be getting a bit chilly in November, unless we happen to have a late fall (unlikely).
I would recommend a stop in Quebec city, and if you're in Montreal, Ottawa is close and definitely worth a stopover. Like Steve, I'm more than happy to show you around if you happen by & I'm in town! Or worst case, give you a local's perspective if I'm out of town.
It's a tight schedule, but doable if you're comfortable with always being on the move.
Steelhawk - there's a lot of beauty in Eastern Canada too! Appalachians, Bruce peninsula, the east coast, great lakes, wine country, etc... There's a lot of variety depending on where you are!

Hi Leksa,
As per my comment on your other post, please share your experiences in the forums. The input of travellers who have been there helps other members of the community who may also be planning a trip to the same region.
Cheers,
Kellie
