In Google Blogspot, publishers are permitted to publish third party advts. like clickbank, on their posts.
Basically, the answer is no. Each provider has their own policy. For Travellerspoint the state that by using this site, the user agrees not to use the site to "advertise or offer to sell any goods or services for any commercial purpose".
The AdSense is allowed as a means of sharing the advertising space/revenue with contributors (blog & travel guide) whose content brought traffic to the webpages concerned. It should not be seen as the same as allowing advertising by contributors themselves.
