Who among us did not dream of a secluded island resort that has nothing but miles of white beaches decorated with palm trees and coconuts on it? to celebraet the decision me and my girldfriend took to fly to Zanzibar for two weeks , I publish a list of the five most exotic destinations on the planet you must visit in your lifetime.
A list of exotic locations depends on where in the world your home is situated since the definition of exotic is "foreign in nature". When I lived in the UK, exotic locations were Bali, Fiji, Tahiti, Hawaii and lots of other islands in the Pacific Ocean. Now in New Zealand, Bali is the Australian equivalent to Ibiza for Brits and similarly Fiji is the same for Kiwis. I'd go with the list above at the moment but I'm sure it'd be different for someone living in Tanzania or Sri Lanka or Venezuela.
I'd also add the Galapagos Islands - crystal clear waters, isolated location and some of the best and most diverse wildlife on the planet.

Looks a boring list to me. One tropical beach looks very much like another, and has the same attractions. Surely as "travellers" we seek the stimulation of variety. If you just want to play on a beach that's what I'd call a holidaymaker rather than a traveller.
You are aware of the fact that this is a list that ranks the most beautiful beaches, in my mind?
What sort of variety are you talking about?
To YOU every beach is the same, not to me.
They all have different characteristics, different cultures, different marine life and so forth.
If I would have chosen to write about different cities around the world, or about different cultures in Africa, You would have seen your idea of 'variety'.
