Hi my name is Sophie and i'm travelling solo from Thailand in July 2014 to Sydney preferably.
I'm looking to meet people who are in Sydney around the time i will be arriving as this is the first time i will have traveled and am super nervous about doing alone.
Would welcome any advice about accommodation and looking for employment ( i have experience in bar work and waitressing)

If you haven't already, check the job sites listed in the Work section of the or the recruiting agencies mentioned .
Don't forget if you go for bar work you'll need an RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) but these vary between states, so you will need to do the training in each state you intend to work.
