i need a little help since it will be my firstime to travel abroad.. just want to know if can we travel to singapore even if we only have a malaysia visa?
As far as I know, having a visa for Malaysia has no bearing on needing a visa for Singapore, Singapore & Malaysia being separate countries. Check with the authority to see if you need a visa to enter Singapore here

Yes, you can travel to Singapore from Malaysia but you required VOA (Visa On Arrival) to enter Singapore. For that you need to pay high fee that would be more than $100. As per their government policy you have Stay at-least 3-4 days in Singapore & you must have hotel confirmation with you and return ticket to India.

I can only give you ideas on the transportation.
You can easily get buses from Kuala Lumpur(Plaza Rakyat near Chinatown) to Singapore. Just remember DO NOT buy any tickets from any agents or any touts, not even when you are at any bus tickets counter. ONLY buy from the person inside the counter. It should be not more than RM50 or RM55, don't pay anything more.fe
If you wish to safe a little more or visit Johor Bahru, the southern most city, buy the bus ticket to Johor Baru, around RM40 and use the local bus across to Singapore for just a few RMs, but not worth the trouble.

Have to agree with asianguy. There's a bus going from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore. My friend who works in Kuala Lumpur takes the bus whenever he wants to go to Singapore. Traveling by bus should be easy, but Visa or Visa on Arrival may still be needed depending on your nationality. I think British and Americans don't need visa when traveling to both countries, as well as people from Southeast Asia.
