Just want to know your thoughts about Boracay Beach!!!
I thought it was a really nice beach, but just off the beach either way there is no room. On the land side of the beach you can't move for accommodation etc, and in the water you can't move for boats etc. It is too commercialised i guess is what i am trying to say. Must have been beautiful a few years ago before the developers moved in. The only saving grace is that it is not covered in high rise hotels.

My boyfriend from holland went there last year and he only stayed for couple of days.. He didnt like it... I live here in Manila, Philippines and I have been wanting to go there but now I have been hearing same comments...Its way way far different from before and present!!!!
So, we just decided to visit Puerto Princesa, BOHOL, and Cebu instead of Boracay...
Hi omnistaffs. I love Boracay island and have returned there several times. It's true what daveh says... that it's commercialized. But that has it's advantages also. I don't like to stay long in a place in the middle of nowhere for example. But in Boracay there's plenty of things to do and people to meet with the nightlife.
With boracay beach you're referring to white beach I assume, I like that beach but not so much during sunset because then it often becomes crowded. Otherwise I love it. But you have to realize, Boracay has many other beaches worth visiting as well, not just white beach, and those other beaches are all uncrowded. -snip-
Also I have to add: I started liking Boracay more as I got to know the island more, since the island offers many things that you will only learn about after spending some time and getting to know the place. Your experience may vary but I love the island
Nothing great, got bored after 5 days. Lots of shops and pushy locals.
Don't like Boracay 2 night is okay- better go to Palawan
