Indonesia:where to go,what to see?...

Kaypt has indicated that this thread is about Indonesia

Hiy Kay,

You can start your travell from Jakarta..
In Jakarta you can go to Taman Mini (Indonesian Miniatur of Indonesia), then visit some mouseum. From Jakarta you can go to Bogor for Botanical Garden and Presidential Palace. then continue to Puncak for tea plantation.

From Puncak you can go to Bandung. here you can enjoy local food, fashion etc. also can visit volcano at Tangkuban Parahu and Ciater Hotspring.

From Bandung, you can go to Yogyakarta by bus or train (choose non economic class). in Yogyakarta, you can visit the Keraton (Palace), Prambanan Temple, Borobudur temple etc.

From Yogyakarta, you can go to Mount Bromo. after that crossing to Bali island.... I think you can go to north bali, like to Lovina rather than directly to south area. At north bali you can snorkeling at menjangan island or lovina, hot spring at Banjar, visit old village, Gitgit waterfalss etc. After you explore north bali, go to sourth bali. you can stop over at Buyan dan Bedugul lake. overnight here is nice... then drive to Ubud for culture, shoping.
Last is go to Sanur or Kuta before you flight back for sunset and night life

i hope this info usefull

made

if you are going to Bali and have time please take a fast boat and spend some nights in Gili... you will enjoy so much and beaches are fantastic!

If you need more information let me know!

hugs

In Java don't miss Borobudur, Prambanan and Mt Bromo (at sunrise). Yogyakarta is a cool city to spend a few days in and this is your base for visiting Borobudur and Prambanan. Also while in Yogyakarta I'd recommend going to see a performace of the Ramayana ballet; this is held in the city or at Prambanan, depending on the season.

Much of the scenery in Java and Bali is beautiful. In Bali, Lovina is a nice little seaside town to chill out in for a couple of days and Ubud is also a great place especially for culture and shopping. Personally I would avoid Kuta.

You should be able to find double rooms in guesthouses for around 100,000 rupiah per night (around £‏6).

Thank you all for the information on the posts and emails.

We decided to skip Jakarta and fly from Singapore to Yogyarta. Everyone is saying that Ubud worth a visit so I'll do my best to not miss it! Where is the best area to stay? do you recommend any guesthouse?

Where is the best area to sleep around Kuta? we want to go for few days and heard about Legian...we want to avoid big crowds

We're travelling tomorrow to Thailand! Yeahhhh )

Thanks for the help

Kay
