Another strange occurrance . . . . Just now I tried to unsubscribe to that African thread and it would not let me! Other threads (like this one) work fine, though . . .

So I have been reading and posting in the forums, and I just downloaded the new Internet Explorer 8, so I'm not sure who is to blame, but things have been kind of wonky. For example, I was editing a post, and I wanted to put some text in bold, but when I hit the bold button, it scrolled up to the top of my post! Then, when I closed the bold code, it did the same! Wierd. There was another time when it would not let the cursor go beside a question mark before an end quote code. Pretty strange. Maybe tonight is a full moon or something, or it's getting closer to 12-12-2012 (just kidding) or my computer has to get used to IE 8, or maaaybe it's you guys. I don't know. Just thought I would mention something just in case. . . .

That African thread subscription is indeed linked to the error about ten daysago where subscriptions stopped working. Basically it was the thread with the highest possible number available, so everyone subscribingto threads ended up being subscribed to that one (if it worked at all!). Weird you can't unsubscribe from it though. Is there an error?
Are you having that issue with the form jumping elsewhere on the site as well, or just in the forums?

Thanks for replying When trying to unsubscribe from that African thread on the page that the tread was on, it wouldn't let me. Then I went to my subcriptions and, for some strange reason, it let me unsubscribe there! There was no error page that popped up.
The form jumping, as far as I can tell, is just happening on the forums.

The bouncing around the page is a bit of a worry though it's good to hear it's only occurring in the forums. It sounds javascript related. I vaguely remember having seen similar happen before on Firefox, but it wasn't a permanent thing. I guess it's still happening to you now?

It doesn't seem to be happening still. The cursor blinks really fast when I type, but the forms don't jump. Maybe the worst is passed and it was just temporary like with Firefox?
