Slow TP?

Hey there,

Is this still the case? I didn't notice any slowdowns myself, and errors coming in have been roughly the same as ever (usually when there's slow downs, errors start pouring in). The only thing I can think of is that this is related to the CSS or javascript loading. That goes through a CDN, which basically means that multiple copies of those files are stored on servers all around the world. This in turn means that those files are typically being loaded from a location closer to where the user is, so should be faster. In the tests we originally ran, it was heaps faster. What might have happened is that your connection to the CDN server closest to you was slower than normal, or worse, not working. That would make the entire site appear to be offline or slow. But that kind of slowdown is usually for a couple of hours at the very most.... so I wouldn't expect it to still be the case.

If it's still not loading at work, try https://www.travellerspoint.com on an off chance?!

Yep, still the case.
I explained in a PM what happens.

O, including the https url doesn't work: it says there is a problem with the security certificate...pffff

You should be able to add an exception to still visit the site with https, even though it's kicking back that error (the error only shows up because our security certificate is actually for 'secure.travellerspoint.com'). I'll reply to the PM now too

https works thanks.
But it asks every time I want to save something if I want to show the unsafe aspects as well.

Also, it is much slower and going back from message center to forum takes ages..doesn't work.

So strange this, but hey, at least home still works fine. Better the other way around

Ok, couldn't see my original post, so that's why there are two.

And believe it or not: now it works fine: after almost 3 full days. Just kept on trying for a while.

Very odd, and can't explain it actually.
