I first visited Koh Chang June 2008 (low season). Revisited March 2009 and the hotel (budget) I stayed at was fully booked. Checked out a number of hotels along the White Sands strip and many were fully booked. Prices skyrocket outside of low season. Would I prebook accom. if visiting in December? I wouldn't leave home without booked accom. Google 'accommodation Koh Chang'. There are some dedicated Koh Chang websites that can help you decide. Sorry, I haven't retained the websites in my research info. I'm confident you'll enjoy your stay there. Safe travels.
