Hi Folks ! 5 of us are heading to Brussels Wed 18th November morning flight at 7.50am - Arr 10.25 Bruss. there is two options to get to Paris, train at €60 and bus €13...we have loads of time to make our way down !!
Liam, I'm afraid you don't really have much options on the public transport front. Brussels is not far from Paris, therefore the trains/bus are all operating during the day as far as I know.
So my suggestion would be, hire a car in Brussels and drive to Paris, then drive back to Brussels after the match. You can pick the car up at the airport and drop it back in at the same place. Five of you would fit just nicely into a car, and sure by splitting the cost and the petrol etc, it's probably cheaper than paying for the train tickets and just a wee bit more than paying for the bus.
Ps: mind, it's going to be tricky driving on the wrong side of the road, and make sure you get a good Michelin map or bring a GPS with the most up to date maps of Belgium and France. Alternatively, use Mappy to get a route recommendation.

thanks lil but that means we cant take a drink plus theres only two of us that can drive !! last quote for a taxi was €400 one way can i get anything cheaper ????
Well, since I've never taken a taxi that far, I really won't be able to tell. You must remember, the driver has to make to/fro journey (even though you're going one-way), and since there are 5 of you, it's probably a mini shuttle bus/minivan that they're using as well. And your trip is in the middle of the night (so higher rate applicable).
As a guide, Beauvais airport which is 89km (that's about an hour drive) from Paris, the taxi between there and Paris would have cost some €180 or so at the higher rate. So given your distance and all, to be honest, I think you'll be hard push to get anything cheaper.

Look for a flight out of Paris that gets you back to the UK in time - this will probably work out cheaper than a taxi to Brussels, even if it means that you have to forgo the flight out of Brussels.
www.skyscanner.net can help you.

well, the moment when ireland was drawn to play france, all the prices went up by several hundred percents for flights between ireland (dublin and cork) and paris. it was crazy, but it's the case. hence that's why liam and his friends bought their flights to brussels, although in hindsight, they should have bought the return flight for later time in the day rather than first flight in the morning, right the next day.
guys im really thankfull for all your help i just thought i cud do a cheaper way coming home !! regarding the flight out of uk i dont think will work as there will be a train/bus ticket to the uk and we will have a flight on top of that !! will it beat €100 ??
Most unlikely, not. Even using the option that t_maia suggested, there's no flight cheaper than £120 per person between Paris-Dublin.
theres a flite from london luton at 33 pounds !! how much is a bus/train from paris to london ??

You won't be able to get Eurostar between Paris and London for less than €120 per person right now. You could go with Eurolines bus, which will cost less than €35 but you won't get in to London until 6 something in the evening, even if you leave with the first bus on Thursday 19th.
