I'm just wondering, is there someone crazy enough to go on a 'new' country (with me too) only with 50-100$? (Europe for start)
I'm thinking about helpx.net, wwoofing, couchsurfing, hitchhiking and so on.

I hope I didn't come across as too negative. I suppose it's natural to try it with someone for backup. I usually just do stuff on my own - seems to be my 'default' setting. I'm actually hoping to do something similar when I get my flat sorted - next Spring hopefully - as I have room enough to offer people a place to stay.

No, you're not negative at all, this is how I wanted to do it from the beginning. I think I just had that kind of 'fear' you fell before to do it. And as I said, I thought will be easier, yeah, will be easier to make me GO, but then...don't know, maybe it will just make everything more complicated.
So, I know now for sure that 'alone' is the best way for me. I'll go this week to make a passport (maybe I'll go out of Europe after a while) and I already credited my card to pay for helpx.net premier membership.
If anyone of you know more websites with tips or articles related to this, please let me know.

After thinking for a while I decided to go alone. So I paid for helpx.com membership and I bought a flight ticket to Paris for 15 December. I hope I'll find something till then.
The thing is I have only 35$ more, so I need to make some more till then too or it will be too interesting. :p
Have a look at the tips section on top, and the free sights section half way down . Hopefully this will help to stretch your dollars in Paris.
