I am travelling from Chumphon to Koh Tao using the Lomprayah ferries. I have heard great things about the ferries I was just unsure of the distance between where the train station is in Chumphon to the thoong makham noi pier. I can't find any accomodation in Chumphon apart from right in the centre and I'm unsure how long it will take to get to the pier, or if anyone knows of any accomodation around. Any help appreciated!
I travelled by minibus from Hua Hin direct to the pier connecting with Lomprayah ferry so unsure of distance from Chumpon to pier. I'd google 'map chumpon' and check different maps or 'chumpon lomprayah' may hit on someone's travel blog. Worth a try while your waiting for a detailed response.
