that sounds so cool. I have had such trouble in finding someone. People jsut dont seem to want to buddy up for a long haul trip that I have in mind.

Im wanting to do the RTW in the new year or so, although like you say - it is tricky finding definates.
Many people love the idea but dont want to take it much further, lots of planning required - Im doing my research etc.. how to keep the house on while I travel & what have you

Hi all!
I'm a Canadian student and I'm planning something similar! I'm heading over to Europe in Sept. 2010, and planning on checking out eastern europe-ish until the end of the year. After that I would really like to see the middle east Jan-Feb 2011 and would welcome a travel buddy.
For anyone who posted above, let me know if you're interested and maybe we can cross ideas?

I signed up to this site looking to do a similar RTW, but I was thinking that planning with a small group is better in case somebody drops out.
I'm a first timer for this type of trip, but I've wanted to do this for a long time.
I'm interested in talking about this with all you folks.
