I have been to Thailand once spent time on Koh Phangan and Bangkok. I plan on exploring more and I wanna ask where most of you Thailand veterans would rather spend your time. Either Bay of Thailand (Phangan, Tao, Chang, Samui) or Adman Sea/Indian Ocean (Phuket, lanta, phi phi, etc) mind you I am 27 and on a budget so areas with like minded individuals is a must.
Trang Province, Krabi Province, in the South. Chiangmai, Chiangrai, Mae Hong Son in the North.
Costs of living are quite high in Phuket and Hua Hin because it's touristy area. But they are nice also if you don't mind.
